Random Acts of Kindness

While on Facebook today, I saw someone's post in regard to a printable Random Acts of Christmas Kindness advent calender.  It made me think.  What about a 365 days a year Random Acts of Kindness calender.  Maybe a desk one so that you can easily see it?  Or, perhaps, an app for one?  Then I thought that it was sad that we'd even need one.  What ever happened to doing a kind act for someone without needing to be told?  When did our society become so self-centered that we'd need an app or calender to tell us to be nice to one another?  I know that I try to do nice things for others.  It may not be daily but it isn't non-existent either.  So now I know what my New Year's resolution will be.  I will be making my own RAK calender for next year.  I don't know if I will always do it daily, but I know that I am going to try to improve my own consistency of doling them out.
